Ploče

Ploče is a small Dalmatian town located just north of the Neretva Delta between Dubrovnik and Split. The originally tiny settlement started to grow tremendously after World War II when the harbour was rebuilt. Nowadays this young city is the primary seaport not only for the south of Croatia but for the neighbouring Bosnia & Herzegovina as well. Surrounded by nature Ploče is perfect for active holidays: here you will find mountains, lakes, river, fertile valleys and last but not least - the Adriatic sea.
